Every journey starts with the first steps. Within the context of the Ministry of Manufacturing, a number of things should be done relatively soon – simply because the many businesses that will soon be starting could benefit from the results of those steps.

• The AIS, the Asgardian Institute of Standards
  It will be good to quickly setup the AIS and define the first series of Asgardian Standards, since relatively soon quite a few companies will be initiated formally within Asgardia by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce. Defining such standards will benefit them and Asgardia as a whole, since standards provide a foundation for collaboration and integration. Moreover, defining standards and auditing whether organizations, companies and other bodies comply to them, will help Asgardia to remain in control of a number of fundamental aspects of business within Asgardia.
• File management and other collaboration tools
  It will be good to have a shared and supported standard toolset for structured and standardized document management and other forms of collaboration within Asgardia. Quite similar to the Asgardian Standards, such a toolset will provide another foundation for collaboration between organizations, companies and other bodies within Asgardia.
• A standard approach for project and programme management
  A lot of things have to be done and it’s good to structure all endeavors, making sure for example that there is a solid business case, a good architecture and good specifications before the building starts, that proper tests and formal acceptance are not forgotten and that results are taken into maintenance and support.
• A standard approach for as a Service
  This methodology is considered not only a good foundation for collaboration between organizations, companies and other bodies within Asgardia, but also a means to implement and do business and make profits.
• A market place for services and assets in the context of Asgardia
  With such a market place, organizations, companies and other bodies, both within and outside of Asgardia, can search, compare and select services and assets to use, to integrate and/or to interact with. Facilitating such a market place will greatly enhance collaboration and can significantly quicken the development of new services and products within Asgardia.

In November 2021 the Minister of Manufacturing wrote the "Plan of Action for 2022" of his Ministry. Halfway 2022 he wrote "Status update for the Plan of Action for 2022". Both are available upon request.
